  • Industrial distributors and distribution-heavy manufacturers, 10 to 200 people

Built by the team behind our ERP integrations

We connected HubSpot to Epicor Eclipse for Fairbank Equipment and Cooney Brothers, and rebuilt Cooney’s integration when they moved to Agility. ERPNext is the ERP we now recommend, connected the same way.

“The ProfitPad team led by Chris has executed the implementation, training and integration on-time and budget. It has been one of the rare IT implementations that there were no surprises and the product was as specified.”

“We had started our migration with a different partner who told us they had integrated HubSpot with our ERP previously. Over a year later, the project still wasn’t complete. ProfitPad finished the data integration in about 2 months, and that was over the holidays.”

Both are ERP integration clients. Foundry is new, and the same team builds and runs it.

Questions owners ask first

Who it fits, who runs it, and what it connects to.

Who is Foundry for?

Industrial distributors and distribution-heavy manufacturers with 10 to 200 employees, a sales team on HubSpot, and an ERP that is aging or priced per user. Each extra warehouse, branch or 3PL that holds inventory is $750 a month.

Is it really ERPNext?

Yes. Foundry is open-source ERPNext, named as ERPNext and never rebranded. We implement, host, upgrade and support it, and connect it to HubSpot. If you leave, your data leaves with you.

We don’t have an IT team. Who runs it?

We do. We host it on our Google Cloud, back it up nightly off-site, test restores quarterly, handle every upgrade and answer support. You name one admin, and we train them.

What does it connect to?

HubSpot is part of every implementation. E-commerce sync, carrier integration and EDI are add-ons with set monthly prices. Other connections, such as sales tax software, are scoped in the Blueprint before you commit.

Where does our data live, and how is it secured?

Each client gets its own ERPNext site and database, hosted in the region you choose. Nothing is shared between clients. People sign in with two-factor authentication or their Google or Microsoft account.

How do we report on it?

ERPNext has built-in reports for inventory, purchasing and accounting, and your sales team keeps its HubSpot dashboards.

How long does implementation take?

Typically 8 to 12 weeks to go-live. That covers data migration, setup, the HubSpot integration and recorded role-based training. The Blueprint fixes the price and the date before you start.

Do we need HubSpot Enterprise?

Usually not. The connector runs on HubSpot Professional through HubSpot projects. If you already use projects for something else, Enterprise may be needed, and we confirm that in the Blueprint.
